Adopt-A-Rockwell

Support the Winnipeg Art Gallery and share in celebrating the iconic art of Norman Rockwell (1894-1978). Adopt a painting, poster or Saturday Evening Post cover during American Chronicles: The Art of Norman Rockwell.

Adopt-A-Rockwell is exclusive to this exhibition, which is the only Canadian stop on the tour and the first time it is being shown outside the United States. Rockwell’s art is timeless and nostalgic. He captures every theme and sector of society, and key moments in history, politics, and the lives of people. Everyone can find something in Rockwell’s work that stirs a memory or story. Perhaps you have a favourite Rockwell image. Not yet? We guarantee you will when you see this historic exhibition.

Select your favourite from over 40 major paintings, war posters or from the complete set of 323 cover sheets from the Saturday Evening Post. You can adopt as an individual, family or organization. It is perfect for a gift or tribute. Adopters of paintings will be honoured beside the painting. Those adopting Saturday Evening Post covers will be recognized in the reading room where they will be featured.

Paintings are adopted for $1500 to $2500 each, depending on the size and value, and the cover sheets are $250 each.
